Pupil Premium

At Woolpit Primary Academy, we believe that all our children have an equal right to learn and have the same opportunities to support them in being equipped for life as a successful adult. The Government provides schools with additional funding for children from a low income families to ensure they benefit from the same opportunities as all other children.

 

It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium funding is spent to best support disadvantaged children narrow the attainment gap between themselves and their peers. Depending on the individual pupil's need, this funding can be used to support children's academic, social, emotional or behavioural well being.
